
What Does A Transcript Cost?
Fees for transcripts are set out in Ontario Regulation 145/22 (amending Ont. Reg. 94/14) under the Administration of Justice Act.
To transcribe all or part of a recording and produce a first certified copy of a transcript:
Electronic: $6.30 per page; Printed and bound: $7.10 per page
(or $25.00 - whichever is greater)
Rush Order (Within 5 business days):
Electronic: $8.80 per page; Printed and bound: $9.60 per page
(or $25.00 - whichever is greater)
For an electronic copy of a transcript that has already been transcribed, requested at the same time as the first certified Printed and bound copy: No Charge
For an electronic copy of a transcript that has already been transcribed, requested at any other time: $25.00
Additional certified copy in Printed and bound format of a transcript that has already been transcribed: $0.80 per page or $25.00, whichever is greater
Delivery fees will be included in the final invoice. Payment by PayPal (MC/VISA) or EFT.
Fees listed here apply to court transcripts only.
Video and other audio recordings are estimated based on recording quality and how quickly you need the transcript.
** PLEASE NOTE: If a transcript will be referenced in court, it is the responsibility of the ordering party who is referencing the transcript to provide a copy of the transcript to the presiding judicial official at no cost to the court. Please check with the court office to determine if an electronic or printed transcript is preferred for the court.
